GO CLASSES COURSE

Preparation with GO CLASSES. Compiling all resources please be with patience

First Question anyone asks while starting a course is "How many hours is it ?" followed up as "How many days it will take for me to complete ?" Now you know :

Course length in Hours
Subject Year No of Hours
DM – Graph Theory (approx) 24 50
DM – Logic 24 83
DM – Set Theory 24 43
DM – Group Theory 24 33
DM – Combinatorics 24 30
EM – Linear Algebra 24 36
EM – Probability 24 48
EM – Calculus 22 12
C Prog 24 47
DS 24 60
ALGO 24 62
DBMS 23 170
OS 24 84
TOC 24 166
CD 23 50
DLD 24 103
CN 24 79
COA (approx) 24 50
APT 36
TOTAL 1242

you can calculate no of days it will take for you to complete, hypothetically on consistent efforts.

sample calculation rounding off it i.e., 1242 as 1250 hours .

#Days it takes to Complete Syllabus
1.00x 1.25x 1.50x 1.75x 2.00x
E[Time] Hrs 1250 1000 834 715 625
4 Hrs / Day 313 250 209 179 157
5 Hrs / Day 250 200 167 143 125
6 Hrs / Day 209 167 139 120 105
7 Hrs / Day 179 143 120 103 90
8 Hrs / Day 157 125 105 90 79
9 Hrs / Day 139 112 93 80 70
10 Hrs / Day 125 100 84 72 63
11 Hrs / Day 114 91 76 65 57
12 Hrs / Day 105 84 70 60 53

so basically you only need to study atleast 6 Hours per day at 1.5x speed or more to complete it all in 150 Days ( 5 Months ) and then on wards you can spend time on Tests and analysing them

but here is a catch :

sadly we have to revise every here and then, actually it should be revised daily, preferably an hour before going to bed, so +1 hour, what about practice and problems given for home work in classes so +1 hr, and if you write notes : +1 hr and if you also want to do pyqs for sure so +1hr. it eventually becomes 10 hrs per day ? yep, but it can be minimized.

you can avoid writing notes and use annotated notes, you have to keep what ever you can and what ever time you get into this to get everything, you have to be efficient in time Management, everyone has same 24 hrs per day but at end it matters only how you used it, even full time preparing aspirants can study day and night because of dizzyness it causes, so there should be constant breaks as well in between study sessions.

if everything done correctly, you can expect a top rank, else you have to compromise in covering some lectures which may compromise rank sometimes, but some topics can be left which are not very frequent or difficult in general as well. so be wise to chose and focus on them. TRUST THE PROCESS !

use excel or notes to track your daily progress and keep consistent
